Will My Colour Choice Affect The Light Output?

Not really.

Typically 5000K is the brightest colour temperature but the difference between 5000K to 6500K will be be too much of a difference in light output.

The only time you see a drop in light output is having 8000K bulbs.

Do You Need A Single Or Pair Of HID Bulbs?

Typically you would replace both HID bulbs.

This is due to HID bulbs slightly changing colour and brightness the longer they burn.
