Colour Temperature
The kits come in a variety of colour temperatures to suit how you’d like your lights to look.
5000K (White & Bright) - Pure white ‘daylight’, giving the most light output (Recommended)
6000K (Blue Tint) - Blue tinted white light, giving a modern, cool, ice-white look.
8000K (True Blue) - Intense blue, best for styling and an ultra-modern look.
Headlight Type
The type of headlight unit on your vehicle will determine whether you require Reflector or Projector Bulbs. It’s quite easy to check yourself.
Reflector - If you look into your headlight unit and can see the bulb, and see the back wall (reflector) of the headlight unit, then you have reflector style headlights and you should use our special anti-glare HID bulbs.
Projector - If however, you look into your headlight unit and see what looks like a lens or dome in front of the bulb, this will be the projector type lens. In this case, the projector lens focuses the light much more accurately, so the best option would be our normal (non-reflector) HID bulbs.

Would recommend to anyone. Had a 6000k set installed for over a year with no issues and upgraded to a 8000k set with no hassle or issues. I did get yellowing in the 6000k bulbs due to to heat, but still look great and work brilliantly. For anyone wanting to improve night driving, these will always be a great buy.

This is the second HID conversion I've purchased from HIDS4U and everything came as described.
In addition the advice regarding slimline starters and ballasts was invaluable as I was intending to fit them to a Porsche Boxster which has modular headlight units which would not have accommodated the standard units as fitted to my Smart FourTwo two years ago and still working well.
Installation and fitting was relatively easy- everything clipped together easily and all the components and wiring appears to be of high quality. Once the headlight units were sealed with all the components inside and refitted the difference in light output was staggering... I replaced all the other bulbs with H7 Osram Nigjtbreaker (fogs and high beam) but I doubt I'll be using high beam very often with the 5000K HID conversion.
Looking at the cost of modified halogen bulbs in a well known automotive retailer the HID upgrade represents fantastic value for money- the HID bulbs were actually cheaper for a pair! It's then just the ballast units but they're certainly not unreasonable compared with OED systems as fitted to my AUDI RS4 B5.
Brilliant service, great advice and quality components made for a stress free upgrade experience and I can wholeheartedly recommend the product and the Company.
