- Alan Gow (head of RACMSA, the governing body of motorsport in UK and TOCA which runs Touring Car Racing), as third driver meant that we had a fair amount of media attention - and he's quick.
- The HID kits worked brilliantly. After my first experience with them in night qualifying I christened them ' the intimidators' - stacks of light and light intensity right up there with some of the teams running 8 (or more) lamps.
- We finished the race and were classified.
- The lamps survived Alan having a front end prang in night qualifying.

Facts: 62 starters, 35 finishers, we were 34th!

A character-building exercise for all concerned!

Looking ahead:

We should use your kit in broad-spread lamps as well as spots so we can see apexes better. Need to get this 100% for next year's Nurburgring 24 Hours.
