standard your car will may these bulbs fitted (inc. BMW, Mercedes).

The D2S type are fitted to mainly projector type headlights (looks like magnifying glass). Fitted to most new cars with Xenon HID including BMW etc.
These Osram bulbs are a direct replacement of the OEM HID bulbs and will fit into the existing housing.
